Join us for this year’s Community Night event at Northampton Community College – Pocono Campus, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm!
Students throughout the county will perform or display their artwork as part of this annual community event and resource. Award winners will be announced during the event and winning pieces will be on display at the Monroe County Administration Building (One Quaker Plaza, Stroudsburg) for a year.
For our part of Community Night, Pocono Arts Council announces an Art Exhibition and Contest open to all Monroe County and ESASD North students in grades 4 through 12. The mission is to create art relevant to this year’s theme: We Put UNITY in CommUNITY. This exhibition is an opportunity for young artists to express what unity means to them and their community.
One piece per student is allowed and may include Fine Art (2-D or 3-D / Sculpture), Written / Spoken Word, or Original Music / Performance. The artwork will be displayed and/or performed during this year’s Community Night event at Northampton Community College – Pocono Campus, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm.
Prizes will be awarded in the Junior (grades 4-8) and Senior (grades 9-12) Divisions for Best in Category in 1.) 2-D Fine Art, 2.) 3-D/Sculptural Fine Art, 3.) Written/Spoken Word, and 4.) Original Music or Performance. An overall Best in Show will also be selected.
No Entry Fee. Late work will not be accepted.
