2024 Community Night Art Exhibition

Pocono Arts · May 6, 2024

Students throughout the county had their artwork on display at the Monroe County Children’s Roundtable, an annual community event held at Northampton Community College – Pocono.

Award winners were announced during the event and winning pieces will be on display at the Monroe County Administration Building at One Quaker Plaza, Stroudsburg, for a year. Details forthcoming.

Pocono Arts Council hosts this Annual Art Exhibition and Contest open to all Monroe County and ESASD North students in grades 4 through 12. The mission presented to the students is to create art relevant to the current year’s theme. This year that theme was We Put UNITY in CommUNITY.

Because the exhibition is only on display for one evening, we wanted to share the work of the young artists so you could see what unity and community means to them.

A big thank you to Judge Jon Mark for his support and enthusiasm, and of course to Kate Croll, and the many other hands and hearts that worked so hard on this special event. Most importantly, thank you to the artists and art educators who shared their love of the arts and community through this incredible display.

Ribbons and awards are fun to receive, but we want to specifically note that they do not define a person’s skill, passion, or desire to create. Every piece here was crafted with care and intention. They are a small glimpse into the world view and experience of our region’s young artists. On with the awards…
