Public Gallery: Eric Goins

Photographer Eric Goins is featured in the Pocono Arts Council Public Gallery at the Monroe County Bar Association! His show consists of photography and will be on display through the end of March.

Artist Statement:
As I look at our modern world through the many sources of media, I find so much conflict and controversy. People seem overwhelmed by al the ugliness presented to us every day. People are stressed by the pressures of working long hours to make ends meet. They rarely have time to enjoy the simple pleasures in the world. As a photographer, I hope to have people take a pause at my art and reflect on the beauty of the world around us. It is important to enjoy the simple things in life that we tend to hurry right past all the time. Through the art of photography, I hope to bring people back to a simpler time when we all could afford to stop and smell the roses.
