David Palmer is a creative person who enjoys painting, ceramics, knitting, gardening and exhibition design.
After graduating from Wilkes University with a BA in Art, he continued is education at Drew University where is received his MTS. David worked at the Newark Museum for thirty years and retired as Director of Exhibitions in 2004. David paints icons in both egg tempera and acrylics.
He has studied icon writing with several different people and egg tempera and old master portrait, landscape and still life painting with Koo Schadler in Alstead, NH. He currently studies ceramic design at the Toshiko Takaezu Studio in Quakertown, NJ.
