Solo Recital of Schubert Songs

After giving us such a wonderful interpretation of American songs last summer, I am eager to hear Thomas’ renderings of classical German lieder.
In this program, Thomas focuses on a selection of Schubert’s settings of Goethe’s poetry, arranged into a thoughtful sequence around the themes “Wealth and Power,” “Romance,” “Friendship,” “The Divine,” and “Shame.” With his smooth, expressive baritone voice, and his spoken introductions, Tom will surely give us a performance that enlivens these songs and refreshes our spirits.

As usual, there is no fee for this concert, but a suggested donation of $15 adults, $10 seniors, $5 students at the door.
