Artist Statement:
“I am an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in the Poconos. For more than 20 years, I was the Media Director for United Cerebral Palsy in New York City and did the
photography for events, brochures, and websites. I also produced, directed, and edited UCP videos about disabilities that are still sold nationally. The most exciting part of my work was producing mini-documentaries for annual fundraising events featuring celebrities including Princess Diana, Muhammad Ali, John Glenn, Oprah
Winfrey and Cyndi Lauper.
I was born and raised near Boston and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Psychology and Theater. I moved to New York City in my 20s and earned a Master’s Degree in Drama therapy from New York University before venturing into photography and video. In 2015, I moved to the Poconos and pursued many of my passions – filmmaking, teaching drama and film classes to children and teens, teaching yoga classes, and exploring new creative photography.

I am particularly delighted to explore new, creative approaches to my photography. With time exposure and no computer manipulation, expose nature in abstract forms that are stunning in
motion, color, and creativity. I like to combine my photography with multiple layers of moving images. I love to find beauty beneath the surface in my photographs.”
