Public Gallery: Jill Swersie

Artist Jill Swersie is featured in the Pocono Arts Council Public Gallery at the Hughes Eastern Monroe Public Library! Her solo show consists of oil paintings and will be on display through the end of 2023.

Artist Statement:
“Inspired by those going about their everyday lives, I paint people as I see them. My medium is oil and my subjects are usually women. I try to capture moments where women are empowered to do what they enjoy doing most. And it need not be anything profound. It’s about life and how we move through our time. It’s how we survive day to day. It’s about being you.”
