Public Gallery: Annamaria Carfaro

Artist Annamaria Carfaro is featured in the Pocono Arts Council Public Gallery at The Yetter Family Gallery at Pocono Cinema! Her solo show consists of exciting and colorful recreations of photographs and will be on display through the end of 2023.

Artist Statement:
“Do you have a photograph that you just love? Transform it into large, colorful, awesome artwork! Your walls will never look the same again!

I see a face in a tiny photograph and transform it into large, spectacular artwork. I re-create the image and duplicate the emotion inspired by the original photo. I am disabled and use computer software to transform images onto canvas. The printed result is bold, colorful, glossy, Giclee, gallery-wrapped canvases.

I am inspired by the photographs you love. Every photo is an opportunity to re-create the original into a new, exciting, colorful design. The final artwork can be framed or unframed and range in size from 6” X 6” to 38”.

With each canvas sold, a donation is made to an animal rescue organization, so that every canvas purchased helps an animal in need.”
