Christopher Centrella is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and The Yale School of Drama in New Haven, CT. He has studied music at East Stroudsburg University under the care of Dr. Robert Miller.
Chris has acted and directed many plays at the university and other venues in the area. He has brought his acting skills and original music to the art form of dance. creating two original pieces performed at The School of Visual & Performing Arts and choreographed by Kathy Kroll.
He has written plays, poems short stories, and two novels. He is a professional pianist. and has been employed as such for the last twenty years. He has also taught piano for twenty-five years in the Pocono area, along with offering classes in art and drama.
He is currently employed as a pianist at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, and he is the musical director at The Unitarian Fellowship of the Poconos.
Mr. Centrella has only recently begun to concentrate heavily in fine art. He has had two shows in as many years at The Gamut Art Gallery on Fifth Street in Stroudsburg.
