Art for me is like a solving a puzzle but you’re creating each piece as you go. It’s the problem solving I enjoy; taking what’s in my imagination and creating something while using stained glass, broken dishes, tile, shells, and found or recycled items as my palette. I am inspired by nature and I love to create birds, fish, animals, flowers, and faces. My mosaics can be dimensional of flat, opaque or transparent; I let the materials speak to the subject.
