To the Members and Friends of the Arts Community:
Pocono Arts Council is on the move in our community. Our board of directors recently completed a strategic planning session with Northampton Community College’s Center for Business and Industry’s facilitator, Ann Hegarty Raines. This experience further cemented our mission to reach out to the greater Pocono community delivering experiences and services directly to the citizens residing all over Monroe County.
We continue to be actively involved in downtown Stroudsburg events, such as the upcoming “Halloween Along Main” to take place Saturday, October 26, 3-5pm.
Our board member, Jody Singer, has been delivering arts experiences to the clients at Street to Feet and our popular “Children’s Drawing and More” workshop is slated for the West End area in late fall. The inaugural “en plein air” closing reception and silent auction will be held Sunday, November 3, 4-6pm at the Auradell Gallery at Stroudsmoor Country Inn.
Our final two art exhibitions for 2019 will be the “5th Annual Photography Exhibition” to be held at Pocono Cinema in November, and we will close the year with an open exhibition featuring “Recent Works” in the Bartonsville area at Nai’s Coffee, Tea and Antiques. Make plans now to join us for the fabulous “Macaroni and Cheese Bake-off” on Sunday, November 10 at 3pm at the Renegade Winery.
For information on how to participate and all of our upcoming events and activities, bookmark www.poconoarts.org and follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Office hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm or by appointment.
For the love of the arts,
Susan Randall
Executive Director
