APRIL · Pocono Mountains of Art Open Studio Tour
Save the date for the first Pocono Mountains of Art Open Studio Tour to take place April 27-28, 2019.
Monroe County artists will have the opportunity to open their studios and to give visitors a first-hand glimpse of their creative process and sell their original artwork on the spot.
This exciting premiere event in Monroe County will bring new visitors who travel throughout the county visiting studios, eating in restaurants, staying overnight, shopping in stores and requiring services.
JUNE · Spring for the Arts
Join us June 8th! Our largest fundraiser, Spring for the Arts, will take place at 610 Main St., Stroudsburg. The event gives us an opportunity to celebrate the success of our regional artists and support the Pocono Arts Council.
Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, libations, silent and live auction activities, a raffle, presentation of the “Rising Star” Suzanne Anderson Student Scholarships, followed by live music at 8:30pm by popular Lehigh Valley band, The Foztones! Plus, you’ll be able to tour our new office location,701 Main St., to view the Members’ Exhibition on display.
This year’s theme is Show and Tell, celebrating 44 years of promoting arts and culture in the Poconos. Wear your best “Arts Council Purple.” The much beloved live art auction is back. Any artist wishing to donate one piece for the cause, we will gladly accept deliveries through June 1.

Pocono Arts Council’s 2nd Annual “Stroudsburg Arts Festival” will take place in July 2019. Held in historic Downtown Stroudsburg along the N. 7th Street corridor and Courthouse Square. The Festival of Wood is a hands-on, family-friendly event that takes place at Historic Grey Towers in Milford, PA. In an effort to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable forestry, the two-day event includes films, music, lectures, and demonstrations that are fun and educational.
Patrons are invited to enjoy handmade crafts, music, arts, programs, children’s activities, educational exhibits, and more!
AUGUST · Pocono State Craft Festival

Pocono State Craft Festival is a juried event featuring quality contemporary and traditional crafts and fine art. Customers from NY, NJ, and PA enjoy demonstrations, festival food, and live music.
Meet and shop from a juried selection of fine artists and craftsmen, enjoy local musicians, and relive history on a working farm. Live demonstrations, children’s area, and festival food make for a great day!

NOVEMBER · Mac & Cheese Bake-Off
The Mac & Cheese Bake-Off is held each fall at a local venue. Admission includes Mac & Cheese tasting as well as voting for your favorite recipe. Celebrity judges provide their expertise to the professional and amateur chefs who participate.
The winner is awarded the title of “Best Mac & Cheese in the Poconos.” All proceeds from the Bake-Off benefit the programs and services of the Pocono Arts Council.
